Love fresh
produce and healthy products?
Vanessa Bearwald works with farmers and vendors locally and regionally
to put together a weekly bag of fresh produce and groceriesa
combination of local, natural, organic and sometimes conventional
produce. It's picked up the day it's ordered which means fresher
and more flavorful.
Vanessa emails a list of contents on Saturday. If you are interested,
please advise by Monday. Bags are delivered on Thursdays either
to your home or to an arranged location. If you won't be home, simply
leave a cooler outside in the shade with payment, and your bag will
be there when you get home.
The basic bag is $18.00. Extra items are usually available at an
additional charge, such as bread, eggs, cheese and flowers.
A lot of the offerings are local. Tomatoes and lettuce are hydroponic
and organic from Pueblo, mushrooms from Alamosa, sprouts from Cañon
City, bread from Cañon City, eggs from Penrose. Some of our
wholesome products are usually carried by Vitamin Cottages and Whole
Foods!
